As Robots get smaller, developers will be turning more and more to Nano Technologies. Recently The Guardian had a feature showing the usage of nano level 3D printing, showing a nano-scale sculpture standing on the surface of a hair. The impossible becomes possible.
NanoRobotics will have a place in medicine, manufacturing, and of course, war.
One prominent area for Nano Tech is in replacing today’s current Battery Technology. Of particular interest is the possibility of using single-atom thick Graphene spooled to make super efficient Capacitors. Capacitors are not technically batteries, but serve the same purpose for storing electricity. Once the battery problem is solved, it will be drones out the kazoo.
